Through the years Chris has morphed ones birth DAY (in our family) into a birth WEEKEND and sometimes even a birth WEEK ... it started years ago when we were first married, he spoiled me silly, and I loved every minute of it and still do! This "birthday weekend" tradition has carried over to our children a bit too ;) they don't seam to mind. LOL
I set up a game night for him and some of his buddies for Friday. He had to work on Saturday but we went to a concert that night and Sunday was church then Jerry's famous ribs and more gaming! Over all a success!

I love birthday Weeks!!! I think its great for kids. Their is something about making sure they know its a special time :) I celebrate half birthdays too not as big, but still make it special :)
